Established in 2008, KBS is a veteran-owned small business committed to research and development, expanding the manufacturing of concrete reinforcement bars for strategic distribution to the market, supplying and promoting the increased use of GBar® reinforcement bars, dowels, rods, mats, and bolts.
KBS is dedicated to providing last-mile solutions to respond to the gap in production capability. A collaboration between expertise in Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) Composites and experience in global business development and marketing had created an opportunity for KBS to provide clients with the GBar® branded products they need for their projects.
With over 20 years of experience in connection with the United States Army Corps of Engineers projects, KBS is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers. The company’s performance in the past include having extensive knowledge of the construction industry and its scheduling processes; successful experience with code compliance and government regulatory agencies; certified senior construction and operation managers (20 years in the army); management of skilled individuals and sub-contractors; operations control and information dissemination; budgeting and corporate finance restraints; quality control and safety, and job site loss prevention; and top secret clearance.
